Blended 4 + 1 Program
Falcon Accelerated Success Track (FAST)
For BS in Business Administration or Economics + MBA in General Business
The Blended 4+1 Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or Economics, and the Master of Business Administration with Concentrations (BS Business Admin/Econ + MBA) program at California State University East Bay offer students an accelerated pathway to earn both degrees in five years. This innovative program is designed for aspiring managers to meet the challenges of the changing business environment with an emphasis on globalization, innovation, and sustainability.
Building on the strengths of our diverse and inclusive undergraduate program, the blended program integrates analyzing information from different functional areas of business in managerial decisions, applying quantitative, analytical, and technological tools for data-driven decision making, and making legal and ethical decisions in organizations and society to develop business strategies that respond to emerging opportunities and challenges in the global environment.
What is a FAST Program?
- Begin your master’s program while still completing your undergraduate degree.
- Take graduate-level courses that double-count toward both your undergraduate and graduate degrees.
- Pay undergraduate tuition for graduate courses (until you’ve met the units required for your bachelor’s degree).
- Skip the Cal State ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ master's application and the associated fees.
Our East Bay FAST programs merge existing baccalaureate and master’s degree programs in similar disciplines into a single pathway. We will double-count a specified number of units (up to 12) in both programs so you can earn your graduate degree faster and at a lower cost! Across the U.S., programs like East Bay FAST are often referred to as “4+1” or “blended” programs.
