To enhance the potential for graduates and alumni to advance in their professional journeys. Create awareness of the capabilities they need to navigate through their careers, and empower them through training, coaching and mentorship. Encourage them to “build the muscle” needed through active engagement and leadership in social impact and community programs. Ultimately, create a network effect where successful alumni in turn can lift others.
This year's Data Summit invites students to explore the topic of caregiving through hands-on data analysis. You'll work with real-world datasets to uncover trends, identify disparities, and propose data-driven solutions that can make care more equitable, efficient, and accessible.
Two paths to participate:
Explore our suggested topics: Visit the page for publicly available datasets and research topics. We provide the general direction, like "exploring wage gaps in caregiving" or "analyzing time-use patterns", and you develop the specific research question and approach.
Design your own project: Have a different angle or datasource on caregiving? We encourage original proposals that use data to address meaningful questions about the care economy.
