Pioneer Supporter Orientation
Orientation is not just for students, but also an important time for families! We have designed a special program to address the questions and concerns family members (parents, guardians, brothers, sisters, grandparents, blended family, etc.) may have as they prepare to join the Cal State East Bay community. Family members play a key role in helping students succeed in college.

Introducing: Family Orientation Housing Accommodations!
Overnight accommodations for Family Orientation are available at Pioneer Heights On ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Housing. Reservations are available for both Transfer and First Year Orientation (1 or 2 night stays). To make a reservation for on campus housing email University Housing and Residence Life at housing@csueastbay.edu. Additional fees apply, as on campus Family Housing is not included in the cost of Orientation and is paid separately. Please see below for rates and accommodation information.
Family members will be housed in single bedroom apartments with a shared restroom (toilet/bath/shower) and living room area. Families can either reserve an entire apartment unit to prevent sharing restrooms/common areas with other guests or reserve an individual room and share the apartment/bathroom space with other family members. All guests will have their own private bedroom with either reservation type.
Family members are invited to bring their own linen for their stay. However, University Housing can provide linen to guests for an additional cost. All linen items are a one time purchase and guests will take their linen home at the end of their stay.

In-Person Orientation is scheduled to be 10 AM - 4 PM, with check in beginning at 9 AM.

1st Guest - $35; Guest #2 or more- Additional $15 each *No cost for children under 10 years
