Format change to commencement ceremonies debuts in June

A new format for commencement ceremonies at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will make its debut June 14 and 15.

Three ceremonies will honor degree recipients at the following dates and times:

Master’s degree and Ed.D recipients will be presented with their diplomas at 5 p.m. Friday, June 14, at Pioneer Stadium on the Hayward ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. No admission tickets nor parking permits are required.
 

Undergraduate degree recipients from all four colleges on the Hayward ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will receive their diplomas at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Pioneer Stadium. Admission tickets and parking permits are required.

Graduates who attended CSUEB’s Concord ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will be honored at 6 p.m. Saturday June 15, at the Boatwright Sports Complex adjacent to the Concord ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. No admission tickets nor parking permits are required.

To ensure there is a seat for all commencement participants and their families attending the Saturday 10 a.m. undergraduate ceremony at the Hayward ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, five tickets and two parking permits will be issued to each degree recipient. Guests of each graduating student planning to enter the stadium will each need a ticket, and every car that comes on campus will require a parking permit.
